How we work

At a glance…

According to the Natural Resource and Training Center on Homelessness and Mental Illness, as many as 3.5 million people experience homelessness in a given year (1% of the entire U.S. population or 10% of its poor), and about 842,000 people in any given week. Project Downtown CLT strives to do our part to help decrease these numbers and make the world a better place for all. Our mission is pursued by the dedication of our volunteers to provide warm meals, hygiene kits, school supplies, and many other services, along with companionship to the underserved. By being there for the impoverished sectors of our city, we hope to bridge the gap of disparities and support our community.
